EZGO 36V Will not beep in Diag mode

I have an EZGO 2007 I think 36V cart. I am having some technical issues and tried to enter diagnosis mode. I have followed the procedure of key off, run position, 5x reverse etc. but nothing will beep. I have new batteries and a new controller. I am relatively inexperienced so it may just be missing a speaker or something.

Is the reverse beeper working?
