Re: Electric golf cart running slow
Scotty- I am looking at your website, I have a ruff and tuff and I don't know what type of speed controller. I look at your flow chart and mine had a front/reverse switch on the dash but I don't see a run/tow switch. I know when i go down hill the cart will do a hard jerk to slow me down. Any ideas?

Re: Electric golf cart running slow
Don't take my word here, please wait for one of the Vets to respond I'm also a NooB
But that controller is a SEPEX controller, based on what it says in the label SEparate EXcitation DC Motor Controller. I you go by ScottyB info here: http://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltra...-controls.html These type of motors and controllers have a Tow/Run switch Does your Cart should have a TOW / RUN switch somewhere? I do not see it in the pics. |

Ok I charged the pack. Let it sit for 11 hours and checked the voltage reading and it was 50.1.

I have talked to come dealers around here and they say a 48 Volt should be running around 17 mph easy. Mine is only at 13 MAX. |

Re: Electric golf cart running slow
It is definitely a sepex control.
I'm sorry I am not familiar with that control and a search for that model # came up empty? Your local guy may not know anything either. Ezgo sepex stock goes 14 mph. |

Re: Electric golf cart running slow
