Default Friction Modifier

I've got a 2009 EZGO RXV and I just changed the oil in the axle. I read AFTER it was done that I needed to add 2 ounces of friction modifier as well. What is the downside if i don't add it and just leave the 80w90 oil i added yesterday.

You will destroy the limited slip pads in diff.

Causing unsafe brake operation.

Just add friction modifier to diff now.

Don't want that!!!!!!!!! Is there a better way to add oil instead of pulling the plug? Its on the bottom of the pan so I'd have to believe there's a faster way than jacking up the front of the cart and doing a balancing act while putting the pan full of oil back on.

So fresh 80w90 without the modifier would be worse than this stuff that was in there since 2009?
