Speed up reverse

I have a series older cart with v glide and heat coils converted to 48v.. just changed to a HD solenoid.
I have reverse hooked to 36v. But still reel slow.
I thought I read about it on here somewhere else but can't find it.
It there a way to speed reverse up?
Not sure about hooking it to 48v.

So did you put 8v batteries in this cart? When you say reverse is hooked to 36v, do you mean it was on the main positive post when the cart had 6v batts in it?

No there 12v. Batteties.

You should be able to put the reverse wire on the main pack negative for 48v reverse...
Basically move it from the third battery (36v) to the last battery for 48v.

Ok I can try that. When I got this 36 v. Going it was rigging 24v. For reverse, then after reading on here I saw my motor can run on 48 v. And I put reverse wire to 36v. I didn't want to keep gona up on voltage on the reverse side because i didn't know if it would hurt anything.
I also thought I saw a post about bypassing a micro switch to speed up reverse?
My reverse is reel slow, like barely moving.
Farward will smoke the lil low profile tire s I have on it. Lol

The motor works with the same voltage and current forward or reverse, so no problem there.

The micro-switch by-pass you read about is for Controller carts, not resistor coils.

Perhaps You moved the reverse power cable to the wrong battery and You are getting 12v instead of 36v in reverse.

Measure the voltage from "pack negative" to the battery post where the reverse power cable is connected and make sure You are getting the correct voltage.

Oh ok, yes it is 36v. Iam gona try hooking it to 4iv., no big deal, don't use reverse much.
