Default RXV Help

My RXV will barely move in forward or reverse. Feels and sounds like the brake is sticking. I have replaced the brake but it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?

It will just barely go forward or reverse. sounds like a scrubbing noise like the brake is not fully releasing. I cycled the key still the same results

No, haven't done that. What should it be under a load?

You can put it in tow. Turn on the key to any position. If the wheels spin freely. You can push it. The brake is unlocking.

You can also take off the brake. Remove three 10mm bolts. Leave the electrical connector plugged in. To see if it's any different.

I have one doing the same thing....

50.6v drops to 49.0v when I press the pedal. It's on jack stands. Rear wheels up. So less load but 1v drop has to be acceptable. I think your looking for a huge drop ie down below 40v

Rear wheels up should be no load. (Unless brake is dragging)

Still going to be a voltage drop (or load on the battery) to spin the motor, differential & rims/ tires). But yes good indicator of the brake dragging but does not rule out faulty batteries nor shorts to ground.

Did you see this thread?
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-dead-rxv.html

per the attachement rxv-e advanced trouble shoot pg. 10
"Crawling: Vehicle runs extremely slow. Slower than limp home. Check motor encoder. See
pages 24 - 25"

Let me know if you get this far and what your results are on the encoder check
