U-max runs for a bit but acts as if running out of gas
I have had this u-max for a few years. Have rebuilt the carb, put new hoses, and a new fuel pump on it. I can drive it for about 500 ft and then it acts like it is starving for gas. When I look at the new in filter it I does not appear to have any fuel in it. I can let it set and it will get some fuel but never fills up. Any suggestions on what I should try next?

probably needs a new TCI, check for spark right when it fails.

sorry about the foreign lingo, the TCI is the coil, and when it fails, it is known to fail as it warms up, then work fine again later. the interval between failure will get shorter & shorter. if you find "spark" to be the problem, dont buy a aftermarket one, they are junk. in this case, only a yamaha one is worth the cost (& time) to replace it.
