Default Need some Guidance on a lift kit ,windshield options

Hi All, I inherited a G1 Gas from my father in law, I also have a G1 E so I took the best from both. I'm looking for a lift kit and I'm guessing i need to Fab my own Windshield. Looking for Suggestions.

Marty

P.S has anyone had luck finding the plastic throttle linkages ?? mine are about to give.

On my Yamaha G15-A, I made a windshield in securit glass (for cars) installed in an aluminium frame two years ago.

I cannot imagine to go back to Plexiglas, it is so clear!!! I sometimes apply Rain-X and I do not even need a wiper (out of street legal matters, of course).

I did not weight it at the time, but after 2 years, it is ok...

Actually, you can see it on my picture,; the glass is fixed by a rubber same as on car and the aluminium frame.

To be honest, a friend of mine did it on his cart a good year before and he has no trouble at all neither...
