new wheels and tires
Wanting to put 20 inch AT tires on my g29 without a lift.
Steeling with 12 inch rims. Will the look ok? Will they rub at all, even with a heavy load on the back?(I have heavy duty shocks). Will the stick out to far? I have had a hard time finding pictures. Any advice will be appreciated. |

Re: new wheels and tires
Really depends on the tires. Are they truly 20" diameter? Sometimes those sizes don't work out quite the same in the real world. How wide? A truly 20" tire should clear if it's not too wide and getting hung up on the edge of the fender lip.

Re: new wheels and tires
Stock g29 can take 21" tires. Might have to pin the rear fender back. Like meimk said, watch your width.

Re: new wheels and tires
I just put some 20" tires on some 12" wheels on my G1. Its lifted but you will be able to see the tire wheel combo if you're curious. Let me know and I'll post a pic.
