Re: Cart in Pond
I would not have created that much work for me to do. Turns out all I had to do was replace the controller after deep cleaning cart first and removing those **** heavy *** batteries. I agree that there are some skunks out there throwing a few down and laughing their a$$es off.

Re: Cart in Pond
Replaced the controller and cart did well for about a month then it would run for about 30 seconds and stop. Replaced speed sensor and that did not fix it. I am at the complete mercy of you guys. I welcome all suggestions. Thank you.

Re: Cart in Pond
Best to probably start with evaluating the health of your batteries and work from there.
What is the stabilized battery pack voltage after charging? You can determine their State of Charge by using the attached chart. Then check each individual battery voltage / state of charge. Once that is done, you will want to test the battery pack and each battery under load by hooking up your digital volt meter and testing them while accelerating from a standing start. Also report the pack voltage and individual battery voltage after you cart fails after driving it for 30 seconds. If the batteries check out (I suspect that they might not), then you can start checking other components. |
