Speed motor!!!! Best bang for the buck
I have a Precedent, with xct400 alltrax, 2 guage wires-motor and batts. Cart runs as it should 25mph with a little larger then stock diameter tires. Looking to go as fast as possible without sacrificing torque. Which motor with give me above 30 towards the 35mph range. Best bang for the buck notor??)

Check out PlumQuick. But, you'll need a good battery pack and upgraded controller, cables and solenoid to get into the 35mph range.
Oh yeah, and think about brakes if you're wanting to go that fast. |

Re: Speed motor!!!! Best bang for the buck
The FSIP speed motor is a great speed motor. We sent it off to Alltrax to have the XCT maps made. It makes 27.5 mph with stock tires at 6000 rpms in both my 2014 Prec and 2011 TXT48 with the XCT. Good boost in power too.

Re: Speed motor!!!! Best bang for the buck
Probably leaning towards the plum...
for 3.5 mph the FSIP doesnt seem like the choice scottyb. Ncpw, My batteries are 2017 stock from club car. And yes I have upgraded 2 gauge wires and solenoid along with the xct400. Brakes would be right after the correct motor. So does anyone have experience with any other motors that are a bit cheaper then $700+ that will gain me anothe 10mph over my 25mph now??? |

Re: Speed motor!!!! Best bang for the buck
I thought Florida was flat.
General info : The FSIP motor does produce 50% more HP than the stock 3.5 motor and the test cart zips to top speed pretty good on a 350 amp control. But yes, if you want more hp there are bigger motors. |
