True.
I will have to do some research to find out what I'm looking at or for...
In the short time I've looked in the last few hours, I have found nothing, 0 information on this charger unlike the Lestronics & etc. that I've had in the past.

Default 36v Club Car charger will not shut off

It is basically a “Lestronic II” charger with a Club Car cover. It’s made by Lester and uses Lester parts. I can find the model number of the identical Lester charger if you need. I have one in the shop.

That would be great. And wouldn't help me find parts I wonder?
I'm going to go out and plug it in to see if I can get it to charge up to 40 some volts before I tear into it. Thanks a million.. I will try and get the model number off it while I'm out there.

Some pics. It does, at least to me, look as if the relay ma be jumped or something here. This orange wire nut just doesn't look "o.e.m." Also, a tab on the relay looks as if it had a terminal attached at 1 time by the looks of it. I just wonder which end of which wire in the nut go to which terminal now

I JUST sold my Accupower the other day or I’d take it apart and look. Let me look at the Lester and see how it’s wired.

Well, that would be great if thats the only problem here. Again, I've never been through any of this crap with at least 15 - 20 Lester's between all of us at our camps in 15+ yrs. Even the old manual timered units never failed us...

Probably all you need is a 36 volt relay and hook those two wires that are wire nuted back to the top terminals. May not be anything wrong with that one..

This is great info here !!! Surely I will try the 1 that is there first.
But, does it matter which black wire in that wire nut goes to which terminal on the relay ?
& would that relay bypass be the reason the charger is shutting down ?

Doesn't matter which terminal. All that is is a switch that turns on and off the AC power, and yes that is what is causing your charger not to cut off.
