Replacing Halogen Lights with LED's on RXV

Hello, I recently purchased a 2008 RXV that has Halogen lights installed. I bought the E-Z-Go RXV GTW Led Light Kit 32023 to replace the Halogens. Is it as simple as just swapping out the lights or do I need to install the new harness as well?

GTW 'not equal' Ezgo factory lights. I dont think it's plug & play.

So if the plugs aren't compatible, just cut and rewire in to fit your current plug. Shouldn't be a big deal. I wouldn't go to the trouble to replace the wiring harness if the halogen lights are currently working. I would be more worried that the lights will fit the current cutouts in the front.

I was pretty sure these were the same size. I did read where another brand wouldn't fit because it was smaller. I'll have to double check that first.

So if the connectors fit I'm good? If not change the connectors or swap out the harness. With my limited knowledge I was afraid there was maybe a resistor or something added since LED's work a little different.

I swapped my halogen's for LED, but used the replacement bulbs only. They were a straight plug and play install. Used same housings and wiring. Might be an option for you if your housings are a different size.

I thought about using LED bulbs, but I couldn't pass on the price for the kit that this guy bought new and never used.

How much of an improvement were the LED bulbs over stock?

I'm not saying they don't exist, but I have yet to see a led kit for Rxv that is better than the halogen bulbs.
