For the healthiest pack and the longest life, you should always use the P&P practice. If you Park it, Plug it in. If it is Parked, it is Plugged, Park & Plug, etc. etc. This assures a full pack, best performance, longest life, while minimizing depth of discharge and sulfation formation.

It is no secret here that I just retired my 10 year old (Yes, ten years old) set of US Batteries. They went from June of 2010 thru July of 2018 and would still hold 50.x volts up until the last 2 months.... This was accomplished through good battery maintenance and it was ALWAYS on the charger when I parked it. Whether I went 1 mile or 15 miles.

Here is a link http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tml#post480598 click on the Battery Guide.pdf file and you can gain a lot of knowledge for battery health.
Well, they are nice folks, but not necessarily tech savvy!

I will keep up my practice of plugging it in whenever it is parked by the RV. I have no idea how old my batteries are, whoever put them in before I got it didn't punch out the dates. I would like them to last as long as possible thought!

We do have 4 kids and there are usually more around as our friends have between 2-4 kids too...always kids around and of course golf carts are cool...also my cart is generally parked around the oppo side of the rv where I can't see it while in the gazebo etc...if its plugged in the tow switch is tripped to also alleviate in a rush wife from taking off with the charger still plugged in lol

I loop the charger wire through the steering wheel to remind the Mrs. to unplug the charger!

Gotcha. Just remember, unless you have gotten away from the OBC or OEM charging system, the carts are disabled why they are plugged in to charge. This is true on the ERIC systems also.

I turn mine to Tow when all the little ones are here so they cannot jump on it and ride off into one of the parked vehicles while it is being used... (I have 2 in their "Terrible Two's!!)
