This is where an in-dash digital volt meter comes in handy ... you can constantly monitor your pack voltage without breaking out the meter. And if you doubt the in-dash meter, you can double check it using your multi-meter.

At that point I had only had the cart a couple of days. It had one, but did not work. I WILL be getting one!

Depends on how bad the golfer(s) are. 2 or 3 hundred miles it seems like sometimes.

This came up a while back. Don't remember the exact number but it was much higher than most would suspect. I'll see if I can find it again.
I forget exactly what it said in the manual but I’m thinking it said from 40-50 miles estimated range for new batteries on a stock electric cart. Flat ground use of course. I would guess 25-30 miles should be about average for three trips around a full golf course. (Keeping in mind that Golf courses are almost never flat) Add a few extra for the guys who drive all over the course looking for the ball.

[QUOTE=Fairtax4me;1568506]It sure does!
Also makes you pucker a lot harder when you drop a $250 meter in the mud or it falls on the concrete floor. (Oh, the fun of being a farm mechanic. )

Yup. Or left out in the rain overnight. That canned one of mine years ago. One thing nice about my current one is it is almost always clamped to something, preventing falls.

Never checked, but would say 5-7 miles for 18 holes.

This is what happens. Take the cart to the car to get clubs. Back to clubhouse for lunch. Drive all over creation because the guy playing with you (or you) hits the ball all over the place. Zig zag because of that. Hit a provisional ball etc. Back to the car to unload.

My local course had us driving a full mile (yes one mile) to the first tee while new clubhouse was being built.

It all adds up way more than you would think.

I have no first hand knowledge, since I have never played golf. I have 2 brothers that love it.

A 7000 yard course is about 4 miles without any other travel
