Voltage reducer HELP
Just got in a led light kit an a volt-2005 reducer form site sponsor. For my 2006 CC precedent. PQ0637. Installed reducer an part of light kit harness. Went to check voltage before hooking up all the lights. Put pack cables back on tow switch in run an key on. I am getting pack voltage at the in line fuse from the reducer. I put neg lead off dvm on pack main neg. to check. Have pictures of hook up.IMG_0069.jpgIMG_0069.jpgIMG_0070.jpgIMG_0071.jpg

Re: Voltage reducer HELP
A little confused. Are you saying you have 48v coming OUT of the reducer?
Do you have a photo of the reducer itself and how it is wired? |

Re: Voltage reducer HELP
The reducer has it's own "Negative" output as well. A better reading can be obtained by placing the black lead of your DVM there instead of pack negative. It's not necessary to continue to test though. Hook it up. It'll work. I promise. If it doesn't work, call me and we'll make it work. Thanks for your business.

Re: Voltage reducer HELP
Did you blow the main fuse? It's located in a black Delphi fuse holder near the solenoid.
