Default Votage drop

OK so we all know that your pack voltage will drop when you are running the cart. How much depends n your battery condition.

We have talked about this before it seems down to around 44-46 volts is normal.

My cart has got to where it will only make 18 holes. I put a ditigal volt meter on my cart and my voltage will drop below that. It may be that I have a bigger motor and controller but mine will drop to 41-42 volts under heavy load. I'm talking about going up a hill about 45-50 deg. 1-200 yards long.

I'll be changing batteries in a month or so.

You are exactly right. The bigger motor/controller combination requires more energy and the steep hill you refer to draws it hard as you are pushing the max....

I was assuming this was correct just from common sence hopefully the ranger 160's will hold better voltage.
