Default Altrax program???

Upgraded my stock motor to the Bandit from Plum Quick. Is there a "tune" I should load to make the cart perform at its best with the following modifications:

Plum Quick bandit upgrade/rebuild
Altrax 400
2 AWG welding wire for batteries and motor
HD SW180 Selnoid
New 36v batteries

more infor about my cart:
stock tires and rims
1996 Ezgo txt
no lift kit

Later I plan (when the current batteries die)to replace my 6 6volt with 6 8volt batteries. This controller and everything will work right? Might new a new tune again? Plum quick said the motor will be fine just watch the down hill speeds and the heat of the motor on long blasts.

Or should I just leave the stock "tune" that came with my altrax?

Thanks for the help

Is it a Series drive or a DCS?

What model Alltrax controller?

If it is a DCS cart and a DCX or XCT controller, you'll need to update the field map to match the new motor. Not an issue with a series drive.

In either case, you may want to do some tweaking to get max performance.

Not sure if the SW180 solenoid coil will do both 36V and 48V.

This might help I spoke with Alltrax re the bandit maps for DCX controllers and they said the new bandit maps were for XCT only. For DCX use the IQ map for torque and PDS map for speed. I hope this helps

That's good to know.

Might be a moot point, since we don't know if he has a sepex drive or not
