Alltrax XCT Programming
Ok installed the Alltrax XCT a few weeks ago, and the cart is a little faster than I am comfortable with letting the kids drive. What settings should I go with to get the cart closer to factory settings when the kids drive? Club Car Precedent.

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
Reduce the RPM limit. The best way to know where you should set it is to collect a data file while running flat out to record rpms at your current top speed. If that number is say 4000 then you can set a limit of 3000 and know you will get a 25% reduction in top speed. Remember to SET your changes before closing the program.

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
I've got the FNKS installed with my XCT so I can set it for 3 different performances. Attached are the settings I used when I still had the stock motor. Probably the MEDIUM / MID PERFORMANCE would be kind of what you are looking for...

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
Yeah I downloaded that pdf from your original thread. Will those settings work with the 300 amp controller?

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
I would set NORMAL at 50% of the current RPMs and then user 1 at 2/3rds or so and then leave user 2 at 6000 = 'my mode'
Pay attention to the throttle ramp rates in the pdf . And ramp up the reverse to 30, then 40, and 50% with each mode Personally I set ; normal to TURF mode & TURBO OFF user 1 to TURF & TURBO ON user 2 to STREET & TURBO ON This will give you a good starting point. With a bigger controller you can also ramp up amperage with each user but with the XCT300 ? I'd go maybe 250 on normal and 300 (350 peak) on the rest. |

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
Ive changed the user settings, example reduced speed to 3000 rpm on user 1, hit the set button, but the cart still runs at 6000 rpm.

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
Only way for me to slow the cart down is to switch from 8 magnet to 4 in the speed sensor section, otherwise it does not respond to rpm changes within the program.

Re: Alltrax XCT Programming
Okay
When you hit the set button you have to wait for the blue button to turn back to gray before you exit the program ! OR you have saved nothing - |
