Front king pins
2012 txt. My front wheels camber slightly out due to play in the king pins/ spindle shafts. I do not see a replaceable kingpin bushing, bearing replacement listed anywhere. Do the spindles have a replaceable bushing or do you need to buy entire front spindle assembly before I head to my lathe to fab up a set? And yes I will drill and tap for a grease fitting in spindle mount on front axle assembly when doing so.
Thanks 😊 |

Re: Front king pins
The spindles have REPLACABLE king pin bushings.....buy the new bushings, push them out with a press......press in the new bushings, them they need to be reamed to size/proper fit.
also, when you take it all apart, inspect the spindle bolt, so if for some reason you need those, get them at the same time as when you get the bushings. BUT unless you had worn through the bushing totally, the chances of needing new bolts are somewhat slim. |

Re: Front king pins
Hate do keep asking but anyone know a ez go part number.
Only found 1 site sponsor that list spindle bushings, (shouldered or non shouldered) and reference a az go part number. Sorry my google skills are not all that lol |

Re: Front king pins
So pulled front spindle off. Looks like the “spindle sleeve” might take place of an actual bushings as it’s a one piece steel sleeve/ insert pressed into the front spindle.
Also be aware it is a metric size as is the bolt that goes thru it. Not 1/2” .500” Like originally thought. Plan on drilling a hole thru spindle and sleeve then tapping for a grease fitting so it can be lubed in future. Otherwise it’s a matter of time till it needs replacement again. I believe in preventative maint. Not corrective maint. 😊 |
