Ezgo Shuttle Intermitten No Run Solenoid Clicks sometimes

Hello all I have a shuttle ezgo 48v that is intermitten no run. Basically when the solenoid clicks the cart runs fine. Sometimes the solenoid does not click though and when this happens my dvm shows the small wires on the solenoid drop to about 23v and the solenoid doesnt activate. When the solenoid is clicking the small terminals are at 48v as they should be. I jumped the large wires on the solenoid when it WAS NOT clicking and the cart started running.

I may be overthinking this because usually voltage drop on the small terminals indicates a bad wire connection or switch but, is this a bad solenoid? I tested the pedal micro and it has good continuity as well as the F/R micros and the key switch seems to operate fine. Reed switch is already bypassed.

The solenoid would not have allowed the cart to run when I jumped it if the small terminals didnt have a good connection correct? Any and all help appreciated!

When you jump the solenoid you are bypassing it same as running one cable from the battery to controller B+. What we learn about the solenoid when doing this is
A. The solenoid is bad or
B. The solenoid activation circuit is bad

Try replacing the small solenoid black wire with a jumper from battery - to the small solenoid terminal. Thus supplying a constant B- to one side.

So there is a wire already running from the small terminal to the B- on the controller. Isnt this supplying constant - voltage?
