Drive2 Axle works in G29 Drive
So I located a rear axle locally to replace my TEAM axle with a 2017 Drive2 and it bolts up perfectly. Only thing you will run into is the brakes. You will need to purchase the pedal box and both brake cables from 2017-up and you will be set! Currently I have a chain lengthening the single cable but got everything I needed for the brake conversion from Partzilla less than $100 and had the axle give to me out of a wrecked cart. This is by far a more cost effective option if you have to dive into your TEAM axle, my issues were a broken left rear axle and best option I found was $400 on eBay, you can do this swap for about $800 including a brand new transaxle.
