Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
LOL, measure the voltage across b1 and b2
then across b1,b2,b3 b1, b2, b3, b4 b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6 and find out which connection/cable is bad |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
The batteries haven't been charged in approx. 20+ hours and here are the readings for them.
1. 8.62 2. 8.64 3. 8.58 4. 8.62 5. 8.63 6. 8.64 Testing the cables per Kenhouser's image here is what I'm getting. Note: each one of these readings would go to zero. Ex. 4.6 then stop at 0, 4.8 then stop at 0. I'm using a different meter from yesterday as well... Across entire pack (black in image) 4.6, 4.8, 4.7 Across b2 to b6 (pink in image) 4.3, 3.9, 4.1 Across b6 to b4 (blue in image) 2.0, 2.7, 2.3 Across b6 to b5 (green in image) 1.6, 1.4, 1.0 Across b6 to F&R (Purple in image) 3.1, 3.6, 3.0 Any ideas? |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
Can you post a picture of the meter showing where the probes are connected to the meter and the scale being used?
Unless those are fake cables the readings make no sense... |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
call the battery in the bottom right in the pic b1
bottom left b2 then going up b3 and b4 then top left is b5 and top right is b6 measure from b1 negative post to all the other batteries positive post and report those back. cause like Sergio said those make no sense unless all the connections are faulty |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
I’m waiting for my wife to get home to take a picture.
On the 12 volt setting B1 neg to B2 pos = 17.27 volts Then a changed the setting to 200 volts and went from B1 neg to every other battery positive and get OL. |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
That sounds like you are on a ohm, or continuity setting.

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
or the bad connection is between b2 and b3.
or the meter is foobar check b2 positive to b3 positive if don.t get ~8.6 then the cable between b2 b3 is loose |

Re: Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack
There's a toggle button for AC or DC voltage on that meter. Can't tell from the picture if the screen is indicating AC or DC.
DC is what you want. I've talked people through using a voltmeter over the phone before, Wavy volts setting is AC, Railroad Volts is DC! |
