My opinion is that it would look better than sticking up so far and it would still move all the air that it does with it standing almost straight up. You did a really good job on that. |

Good idea. Here is a Create-a-Breeze Fan for $100 from Camping World. It's complete for someone that might want to undertake the same project. I have 2 in my motor home but are the more expensive types, (close automatically when it rains, temperature variable speed and all that nonsense. I really only use the one in the bathroom… you can guess why!!! |

Any Idea what the amp draw is on the fan Reb?
I understood the automotive cooling fans were a high amp draw motor and needed to be run through a relay w/heavy ga wire. just wonder'in |

The fan says 80watts so divided by 12v is about 6.6amps. I think that's how you figure it out. I thought the box said 8 amps but can't remember.
