Re: battries
Use the search feature here on the forum. This topic has been debated many times. If you need cheap batteries, then go for the Sam's batteries. If you want better batteries, buy some Trojans for $40.00 more per battery. The end decision is all up to you and what you are going to do with the cart

Re: battries
Like Mike said you get what you pay for but the true difference is in how you take care of your batteries..... Proper break-in, usage, & recharging can get the most use possible out of any brand .... from the cheap to the best

Re: battries
Some people hate the sams batteries and wont recommend them. I have bought about 15 sets of the 6 volts and 2 sets of 8 volts with no problems.

Re: batteries
Before you replace all batteries use a specific gravity tester to determine how bad they really are .
Check batteries , water 1/4" to 1/2" above plates. Make sure if water is needed that U use only distilled. Charge cart until charger completes cycle , wait 30-60 minutes then do testing. Read this http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-readings.html |
