Okay! Got the motor tonight, old one came of great this past weekend. I used a couple of nylon motorcycle tie downs to support it while I unbolted and bump it loose with a rubber mallet. Went smooth thanks to the help from here.

Tonight, I installed the new PQ motor and it went on smoothly as well. I used Blue Marine wheel bearing grease on the shaft that I use on my dirt bike. The stuff holds up great and has not seized on me when used on axles and brake pins. Hope it works fine...

I cleaned up the housing before bolting on the PQ as well. I used Anti Seize on the motor bolts and used a little dielectric grease on the wire terminals when I installed the nuts and lock washers.

Now, I need to start installing the new battery pack. I have new wires, hold downs, etc. for the pack to do when installing. I spent a week cleaning corrosion off the trays and then painted with Rustoleum aluminum colored paint.

Once things are together, I will post the speed per GPS and let you all know the results. Thanks again for all of the tips here!!!!

And by the way... where did you pull my post from on the 30w diff oil... it's not in this thread... right... am I losing my mind now...
Club Car used to sell this really thick grease but it's been discontinued, ever since then I've just used a little bit of never-seize. Works fine.

About the oil... Yeah it was on this post... at the top of page 2

Oh that... actually that was a quote from someone else that told me to use anti-seize instead of marine grease. Once again I'm 0 for 2 on this thread

AMD, you mean to tell me that you didn't have everything ready to go so all you had to do was drop the motor in and run with it. I was sitting on the porch waiting for the UPS man to drop mine off so I could throw it in and try it out.

I took the day off from work when I found out mine would be here so I could put it in as soon as UPS showed up.
