I really appreciate the offer. Are you sure you really want to drive all the way across the alley??

Solid 25 mph on flat, faster on down hills, 23mph up hills depending on grade. It's a torque monster with the 500 amp,, if I set the alltrax to be too sensitive it'll pull a wheelie. But I have it toned down to not break or kill anyone.

That's Great!!

I am hoping to get somewhere in the 20mph range. Did you have to do anything to your transmission, or did you just replace the motor and controller?

Just motor and controller, make sure you brakes are in good working order!

I am considering adding disk brakes to the front as well, as I tend to drive maybe too fast.

As of right now, The brakes are good! We will see once the motor is added!

Mine is 2001, it was a Regen so when I had the high speed motor without the Alltrax controller in the Regen braking still worked, now with out AllTrax controller there is no more Regen, I didn't realize HOW much the Regen contributed to slowing down when running 24 mphs. Big difference with out. now I miss the additional stopping power.

We go to Disneyworld quite a bit and stay at Fort Wilderness Campground in the cabins. Every time we go we rent a cart. Disney has the Club Car Precedents. You can tell it's governed as well as the braking set pretty aggressively. This year we are going to bring our own. I prefer the non regen between the two.

Me too, but when you are going close to 30mph any additional braking in addition to the drum brakes is very nice!
