Default More Power/torque 98 gas E-Z GO

I have 1998 EZGO gas, I have 5 inch lift modified to a 6 inch from Jake's with 22inch tires and have lost some torque and looking for some ways to regain the power and torque. I would greatly appreciate any ideas, tips or tricks to regain the Torgue.
Thanks
Paul

The best and pretty cheap upgrade is go to your local dealer and have them install a 28 degree upgrade in your existing clutch. I have had 2 done and it works great and under $75 alot cheaper than a whole new clutch good luck!

Is that a 28 degree angle on the clutch where the belt contacts? and just increases power because of the progressive angle comes in quicker? I was also told by a The CartGuy up here in Canada that I could pull off the clutch unit from the diff. and turn up the spring on the back side.Is this true and will it work? And is the diff side the right one?
Sorry for all the question, but do apreciate any help
Thanks

No, it's the angle of the ramps that have to do with how it opens up to let the belt ride lower. It's harder to open the 28deg so the engine will build up more rpms compaired to how the 36deg one opens.
can't tell you about the spring, I've never found a need to mess with it.

Yes...Definately throw a shorter belt on. It makes a huge difference. I have a very similar set up to yours, and it does wonders!!! Adjust your govenor for more top end as well. By far the two cheapest, best mods you can do.

Tightening the spring on the driven clutch will keep in it low gear longer as it delays the shift.
