93 marathon 4 cycle wont rev ?
I have a 93 marathon 4 cycle , new plugs , valves adjusted, and carb cleaned. I need to know what the carb screw adjustments are ? and
It seems like the gov comes on right away ! Are these govenors electrical or mechanical ? would a poorly grounded electrical system cause the fluttering , and not let the engine rev ? It will not rev up with the drive belt off and moving the carb by hand with some of the gov rods removed to test. Now What ??? Thanks, Mike |

Does it bog or sputter or spit? Some more info would be very helpful. Also check the compression...

Rewired the complete grounding system with new wire and cleaned all conections. It must have had low a voltage to make good spark. It now runs better than it ever did !
