Default Just bought my first golf cart and I have questions.

How can I determine what kind of motor is in my golf cart. The inside panel of the right glove box has the following information.

F398 - Manual Number

1096314 - Serial Number

I took it to a mechanic and he told my it was a 1998 model. It is the two cylnider gas engine model.

You most likely have a 295cc stock engine. Its possible its a 350cc but I doubt it. Almost all standard club carrying carts came standard with the 295cc Robins engine. There should be a ID plate on the engine just behind the breather box that is attached to the head that says either e29h or e35h. Nice cart!!

Thumbs up Re: Just bought my first golf cart and I have questions.

The black plastic engine shroud under the carb should have all the info in raised letters on it....gotta look close as it's hard to make out at first.

You can also look on the timing cover just above the primary clutch and there should be a displacement sticker there as well..
