How Do I Install an EZGO Ignitor in my Yamaha?
Hi,
My Yamaha G2 has no spark. found 2 wires going in to the plastic male connection which plugs in to the ignitor to be broken. It is impossible to find new terminals to crimp wires to and slide back in to this plastic connection. I hear EZGO ignitors can just be spliced in to the yamaha harness. Is this true? If so, how do I do it and which EZGO ignitor should I buy? Thanks! |

Compare prices. Well, if you can afford a price differential of close to a hundred dollars, that is the best option.
Now to answer the question of how? Get hold of an EZGO wiring diagram (so easy to undertand vs a Yamaha diagram). Then trace the wirings. There are only 5 basic wires so its not really difficult. The yamahas have 7 pins and 9 pins depending on the model. If you break 1 pin then "so sorry" there is hardly an easy way to fix it. |
