shorted controller wiring
I installed new batteries and when I connected the controller wiring I got the wires mixed up and smoked the controller. the mfg. code for my cart is 06m95 it is an ez go textron. Have I ruined the controller? When I push the throttle I hear A click but the cart dosn't move.

Re: shorted controller wiring
Welcome to BGW!
If smoke came out of the controller it is not damaged, it is ruined. If it was just the control wires burning up, the controller may be OK. |

Re: shorted controller wiring
how is the best way to determine if the controller is ruined. smoke came out from the bottom of the cover where the wiring goes in. I am A novice, and the only testing equipment I have is for up to 12v dc
