Can you all tell me if I install head lights, radio, etc do you have to have a separate converter for each item? or can you run all your electronics through one single converter? I take it all converters are NOT the same?

. . . a single converter can handle it if sized properly, ie 25-30amp . . . wire it to a fuse block and distribute the 12v to your accessories from there . . .

On my first cart I installed a cheap 10 amp model and it was terrible. It made a buzzing sound and would click every time you would turn on the lights. Just go ahead and get a big one now, so it will cover all your future accessories. |
