Flooded G22
Hello, my 2003 Yamaha G22 was flooded and I drained, well keep draining the engine of water. while I was draining I checked the axle and it was full of water,my question (i'm not a mechanic) do I just take off the axle cover let it dry maybe spray some WD40 on the gears and then replace cover and put new gear oil in? also I get it to turn over starter sounds good but clutch does not engage. what else should I drain or replace? any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Flooded G22
If it was flooded, I'd say you need to completely disassemble anything mechanical, clean it, and put it back together and regrease/oil what needs to be.
