Re: My restored 1979 Yamaha G1
THANK YOU!!! I ordered the cup holders directly from the yamaha dealer in town, they are still available from yamaha, I think they were like 6 or 7 dollars a piece.

Re: My restored 1979 Yamaha G1
I started with a $100 engine setup 1994 G9 and now we have 5 of them all lifted with big tires and everything else. we even have a G16. All it takes is one to get you hooked. Great job on the G1.

I now know what everyone means about not being able to stop working on and thinking about what else to do with this cart. I can't wait to find another project to start on.

Re: My restored 1979 Yamaha G1
How did you get a steering wheel in place. Kinda stuck on that one for my Yamaha G1. Thinking of painting mine, but would rather replace if it's easy and econominical. I'm rebuilding a pontoon too!

Re: My restored 1979 Yamaha G1
You have to get a steering wheel adaptor and you can install just about any kind of wheel you want, I think I got about 80.00 in my wheel and adaptor, they came as a set.
