BCM you are a fountain of information. I searched for the backfire info on the web and one of your posts from last year came up. I can't thank you enough for your wisdom and contributions. When I did the exhaust BBQ I took the gaskets off and wired wheeled them to get them clean again. I will schmear a little permatex on them and see if that stops it. I'm also going to redo the throttle cable per your post last year. I think I may have a little too much tension on there. I am also going to reset the pilot screw again. I think it may still be out a little too far and pumping too much fuel for it to burn properly. Other than that I think I may have to save all the mods I want to do until winter. The wife just informed me I have to quit spending so much as we have a trip to Italy coming up in 3 weeks. So I have to hold off on the 21" wheels and the 5" lift as well as the shorter belt. Looks like you guys will get tired of my questions this fall and winter. I hope I can get this rascal running well enough for camping. Then I can drive a beater around for a year and knock their socks off next year when they wonder what I did to my cart. I will keep you posted on the back fire issue to see if I can remedy it. Thanks, again for all your guidance.
