Ezgo convertion
Hey everyone, I an converting my electric cart to a gas cart by using a 13 hp motor. The motors shaft spins the same way as the shaft going forward to the rear axel. What I'm trying to think of is how to connect the motor shaft to the rear axel shaft. I need a clutch or something in there so it dosnt take off once I start the motor. Does anyone have any ideas? Please help I've been working on this project for over 2 months!!

Re: Ezgo convertion
Electric rear ends are direct drive, the motor spins backwards to achieve reverse travel. You will need to get a 4 stroke gas cart reversing differential to do this properly.
