Re: What type radio setup do you have?
When my am/fm cd player goes out, I am going to install just an amp. I can run a RCA cable from my I-Phone to the amp and play my music off my phone. (I never use the radio) Plus i dont have to carry cds around in the cart.

Re: What type radio setup do you have?
Awesome choice! Are those the speakers that glow at night time?

Re: What type radio setup do you have?
I saw a set bat wallmart a while ago that looked similar and they glowed in the dark...cool idea. Infinity...great choice!

Re: What type radio setup do you have?
I went with the overhead console to keep my glove compartments and cup holders. I mounted the aux battery behind the center two by building a frame to support it. I also added a kill switch next to the radio as extra insurance not to run down the battery.

Re: What type radio setup do you have?
I know you were expecting something different, but here's mine on my work cart:
A set of $2.00 computer speakers from Good Will and a $5.00 Chinese iPod knock off from eBay that has a 1 gig removable SD Card that was included to load my MP3s on. My cart doesn't have a roof or a windshield right now, so if it starts raining while I have the radio out I can throw everything back in the ziplock bag I keep it in and keep working. Besides, if it gets ruined I'm out a whopping $7.00... When I had a roof on it, I had a motorcycle amp and speakers from eBay mounted in the glove boxes and used the same MP3 player or my 5th Generation iPod Nano (it has a radio tuner too) as a head unit. -Scott H. |

Re: What type radio setup do you have?
And the winner is....well I forgot to take pictures on Sunday and it is too dang dark to go do that now. So you will have to wait until this evening after work. I have updated my sig to include the ScottyB Reducer(30 amp). Installed that and the "surprise" Saturday. Took me around 3 1/2 hours on the install, running wires and all.
I did run quick connects on all the electrical and like a DODO head I put them on backwards...exposing the hot end of the connectors. I will begin to replace in my copious free time...else I see fuse replacements in my future. Stay tuned...it looks nice and sounds decent. |
