Motor
Hello,
I have a Caroche, I think is a 79(checking the serial number ASAP), and the motor is killed. I took a photo of the motors label, can anyone help me with finding a new one? that would be awesome!!!! Thanks! Also, it has a 16 tooth male spline. |

Re: Motor
I am guessing that any 36v series motor would work?

Re: Motor
I’m not sure what killed means, but motors are rebuildable. If you live in or near a larger city, you should be able to find a motor rebuilder somewhere. If it’s something simple, it can be pretty cheap. If you have a shorted armature with raised commutator bars, it can get more expensive.
My dad was a motor rebuilder on the railroad the last many years of his employment. Being #1 on the seniority list has its perks. |

Re: Motor
I will check the tag. Also the splines I just removed from a 79 ezgo yesterday. I scrapped the rest of the cart after I pulled some parts from it. I know it ran good about 6 months ago. I will check out best i can and get back to you. Hope you can use it. By the way my name is Randy. I live near McKeesport and have a camp by Keystone state park.
