Default Motor

Hello,

I have a Caroche, I think is a 79(checking the serial number ASAP), and the motor is killed. I took a photo of the motors label, can anyone help me with finding a new one? that would be awesome!!!! Thanks! Also, it has a 16 tooth male spline.

I am guessing that any 36v series motor would work?

Remember Jake most Club Cars use the Graziani 10 tooth setup, female meaning the drive shaft is inserted into it. So will have to look a little harder for 16 tooth male.

Yeah, I did think of that. Do they make motors that will fit in his cart?

I’m not sure what killed means, but motors are rebuildable. If you live in or near a larger city, you should be able to find a motor rebuilder somewhere. If it’s something simple, it can be pretty cheap. If you have a shorted armature with raised commutator bars, it can get more expensive.

My dad was a motor rebuilder on the railroad the last many years of his employment. Being #1 on the seniority list has its perks.

I will check the tag. Also the splines I just removed from a 79 ezgo yesterday. I scrapped the rest of the cart after I pulled some parts from it. I know it ran good about 6 months ago. I will check out best i can and get back to you. Hope you can use it. By the way my name is Randy. I live near McKeesport and have a camp by Keystone state park.
