Are these carts available as Gassers?
Howdy,
I've been searching the web all day looking for the right ez go to start my build project. I came across the flatbed shown below and I need to know if these models came as gassers too? All the ones I have seen for sale are electric. Thanks, Bradshaw |

Re: Are these carts available as Gassers?
Here is my 2010 gas RXV I stretched. It will have a rear seat/box installed when it arrives then I can install my long top. Still a work in progress but I love it so far. You can have any cart stretched if you find the right dealer.

Check with the big cart dealer in Harrisonburg. They've got acres of carts...

Re: Are these carts available as Gassers?
Thanks JerJ and Dave, I will check up on them.
From JerJ's comments, I see that any cart can be stretched.... Does this mean than all long carts started out short and were lengthened or were some of them built long at the factory, I would guess this is the case? Got my eye on another option if I cant find a gasser long-bed like in the photos above, its a cab-over of sorts, an industrial model 875G, nothing but a regular cart canopy, no hard-shell. Not sure I like the shorter wheelbase though for future lift plans, especially with riders up front, might make for a good crash-dummy tester, that is, a rollover special. Seems like they are heavy too, but if one could afford to replace all that diamond plate steel with diamond plate aluminum, I could see it shedding a few pounds. Might need a welding helmet to drive it in the daylight with all that sun flashing off it. Bradshaw |

Dave, thanks for the lead. Still looking for more flatbed space. What part of VA are you in? Bradshaw

Re: Are these carts available as Gassers?
Nobuck, yep, was looking at one like that a little closer to home. Been trying to get measurements from one, I see specs on one of the cart sites online, but they don't give dimensions from the rear up to the front wheels. Trying to figure if it will fit in back of full sized pickup with tailgate down. Would you mind posting a few pics of how the deck raises up for engine access and some pics of the engine bay? I'd aprecciate it. Bradshaw

Re: Are these carts available as Gassers?
the deck is just plywood in the metal frame and the bed is just under 4 x 6 ft and it may fit backwards but on a trailer its just a hair over 10 ft with the front bumper the nice part of the 875 is wheel placement so you could put it in a pickup vs a stretched cart where wheel support becomes a problem , what are you looking to do with the cart? I currently have the cart in storage so no pics but i can tell you its mostly the same thing as any gas ezgo txt except it has the 350 engine instead of the 295 and will pull down a house or haul it on the bed , dangerously indestructable.
