Default 2005 TXT Gas 4 cycle won't run

I have a 2005 post MCI 295cc 4 cycle TXT, at the end of last season wi were on a drive with it and it was running fine, stopped to chat and it would not restart. Spins over but that's it. If you spoon feed it gas through the carb it fires up and once that gas is gone it just spins again. Checked for spark and that's OK, checked gas lines for blockage, that's OK. fuel being pumped out by fuel pump right at carb. Removed any old gas from tank and replaced with all fresh gas, no change. Bought a new carb put that on and the same action, its like the gas is getting to the carb but not getting into the engine.

Any ideas I don't know what else to do but take it in somewhere but the local places are not great! really frustrated!

Check and adjust your valve clearances, and check air cleaner for good flow. Check for plugged vent hose on carburetor. Let us now what you find.

If it runs with fuel fed into the carb then it's not getting fuel period. Fuel pump bad or plugged fuel line. Try running it gravity fed from a temporary fuel supply.
