Default E-Z-Go Speaker Installation

Does anyone know of a better way of installing stereo speakers on my E-Z-Go? I am not too fond of the stereo and speakers mounted to the underside of the roof (Very expensive & I like to ride around with the top off). I would mount them on the charging plug panel, but I think that would take away from the sound? I would like to mount them in the cubby holes in the dash panel, but how? Any suggestions out there?

Hey Curly33333, thanks for the info. They look great. Have you installed these on your own cart? Are they easy to install?

No I havent got sound on my cart yet.

But they look easy to mount. Just running the wire behind the dash to the head unit would possibly be the hardest part.

I used Tupperware dishes to mount mine. I still have to paint them black to "hide their ancestry", as someone else put it.

To take them off temperarily, all I have to do is unstap them from the lids that I have mounted to the floor with one small bolt. My pods were $2.00 each as opposed to the $75.00 for the ones in the link above.

Check out mine... I installed them with 1 1/2 " spacers bought form Best buy for $12. Cutting the fiberglass is easy and it actually makes for great sound as it uses the battery compartment as a "box". I cut just enough for the magnets to fit through the body.
