I suspect that I am having the same problem as jkeczan. Clicking sound when driving. I looking for a service manual for the rear end.

Re: 97 CC Rear end noise
When was last time you check differential oil? Should be full up to bottom of fill-check plug. Check with our sponsors for available service manual. Sorry nothing on line avaiable that I know of for Club Car?

Re: 97 CC Rear end noise
That was the first thing I checked was the oil. I added some, pretty tough to get the oil in there.

Re: 97 CC Rear end noise
Sounds like motor spline noise... Pull the motor off and replace the nylon guide-ring.

Re: 97 CC Rear end noise
I also have the same problem with my 99 club car. motor was replaced (by used one ) twice. each time the noise stopped for a while but started over again.
What type of oil goes in the differential ? I am also planning to change the guide ring any special instruction needed to do this myself ? |

Re: 97 CC Rear end noise
Having trouble finding a manual with differential rebuild. I have the complete electrical manual, downloaded from here. I checked 2 sponsors so far and now I am waiting on local CC Company.
