Default Forklift Motor?

I have access to an almost brand new 36V forklift motor here at work from a lift we're scrapping... anybody ever rigged one of these onto a buggie?

I did but it kept raising my beer out of reach.

The question would be mounting and coupling means.

A local EV shop says that is what he uses or tries to find for his projects.

I'd get the motor and anything else electrical. You might not be able to use the motor on a cart but some of the other components could be used. Just depends. They use those motors on EV conversions.

stuff to get:
pump motor
drive motor
controller
contactors
throttle pot
hydraulic pump
hydraulic cylinders
switches
relays
etc.

take photos of whatever wiring you can to aid in repurposing. whatever you don't use for carting will be saleable on ebay unless its really beat up.
