Default Am I getting proper speed?

I have a 97 TXT Series. Upgraded to Logisystems 480a controller, 400a solenoid, 6" Jake's Spindle Lift Kit, 22x11x10 wheels.

What speed should my cart be going? Since I don't have anyting to compare it to, it would be nice to know if I'm at it's full potential.

The controller and solenoid will allow more current to flow but will do nothing for your speed. Did you also change the cables to 4ga?
If your cart did 12.5mph with the stock 18.5" tires on it, the increase to 22" tires will get you another 2mph.

Okay, sounds good. This is what I'm getting.

I didn't build my cart with the intention of going fast, but with the need to have torque. I just wanted to make sure everything was properly working.

Thanks!

So, what are the stock motor RPM & gear ratios?

For the TXT series carts, the motor RPM 2850 +/- and the gear ratio is 12.44:1.

So that is 12.3 for my 96' TXT with 18" tires. If you go from 36v to 48v you get +25%? That would make it around 15.5?

Stock tires are 18.5" and with a 2850 rpm motor, a 48v upgrade will give you 16.8mph.

Mine are 18 X 8.50. I doubt that a 14 year old cart has the stock tires.
