Default 2003 pds txt

OK I had a choice between a 2003 ezgo and a 1996 club car. Bought the 2003 Ezgo for 650.00 and It came with a back seat. I wanted to raise this cart up and use it for golf and off road but after reading a few threads I see where this may not be the right cart for the job. Now the cart is clean and I did break the windshield after trailering it home. Will need to buy new batteries but I feel like I can get my money out of it. Would you keep this cart to fix up or sell it and get the club cart. Thanks Rick

You are on the right course and have the right cart. For everyone else's benefit, Rick is going to use the cart for golf (I know, what's that? ) and light off roading and back road cruising and messing around at the lease property.
The PDS cart will give him good torque and up to 24mph on 36volts with the right controller upgrade pkg.
This is a better choice than the 96 CC because for one the series 48v CC goes 10-12 mph unless you change the motor which usually means a controller too. But most of all it was the 2nd year of 48v production and those 1st generation OBCs were junk and almost all need replacement by now... just my opinion others will vary.

Enjoy the new cart.
