Default OK, what is it?

So, I'm putting my cart back together ('99 TXT) after the winter and I have a part that I don't know what it is. It's a black bracket of some sort. It's about a foot long, and it has 4 plastic rivets in it. As far as I know, I only have one.

Any idea's? Pic attached.

Thanks!

I put this question to a friend of mine bhfear, this is the email I got back.... Quote"Ya that goes above the f&r handle but just behind the lip of the body on a txt, the 2 of the 4 nothces are used the 2 7/16's bolts go down there the f/r switch plate if you will, sandwich it in place, and then the 4 plastic rivets hold a strip of rubber floor matt down that butts up to the bottom wood on the seat, your big gas workhorse might have it, and then on dcs carts they have them two, but when i would do my rebuilds i just threw it in the scrap, not needed, but ya good luck trying to explain that on the forum, so ya thats why i didnt type this on there lol " Thanks Dude

Hey Scotty, You'll have to tell your friend bhfear that I went out to my shed this morning at 6AM, at 28° to see if he was right. All the bolt holes lined-up where he said they would.

A big thanks to you both from New Hampshire!

Tom.....
