My previous comment about being a novice was totally directed at myself. I am learning all of this from the ground up =)

I removed one of the cross members, and with a short bracket, secured the inverted controller to the frame.

My concern is that in the picture I only see one point of contact. The controller looks to be perched on one cross member. Correct me if I'm wrong. Can you take more pics showing the controller mounting hardware?

Unconventional installs are okay so long as they are secure. I'm a little confused as to why you removed the cross member from above instead of mounting the controller to the two cross members as they were in picture #1.

See attachment.

Good morning...

The original controller had 4 slots for bolts to secure it. The new controller only has two and they are on top and in the middle. There is no way to mount the controller upside down. There are no mounting holes on the bottom of this controller.

There are 4 mounting clips in the hardware box. I'll find a pic. Look through the manual

. . . operator's manual's mounting instructions seem simple enough . . there should be 2 types of mounting clips in package. . one style clips on the side vent grille and the other style clips on where the usb port/cable connectors are . .
