Default 2000 club cad DS model Real fast on flat ground but will not climb a hill for nothing

Good morning from sunny florida. I just bought a lifted club car DS 48 volt with brand new T875 Trojan batteries in it and it runs real fast on flat ground but will not go up a hill to save it's life. Any idea what I can do to gain some torque out of this cart? A0041 946447 is the number off this cart.

Most likely the motor is not getting the amperage it needs to make enough torque to go uphill. Since the batteries are new, we will assume they are installed correctly and charged up. So that establishes a plentiful supply of amperage, now thew motor needs access and delivery.
Access= Controller/solenoid.
Delivery = Cables & F&R.

Regen I believe. It's a 2000 DS 48 volt with a run tow switch.
