Lost my speed...
Hi all,
I did the 4-12v to 6-8v conversion a couple weeks ago and took it for a test drive and it would go as fast as before...I have this installed: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=87941946634 The switch had corroded from being by the old batteries so I replaced it with another on-on switch. Now when I push the pedal from stopped position, it gets up to the fast speed, but then dies down and goes slower than stock, still moves, but maybe 10mph...maybe. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance! |

It's called the 2 speed kit...it's just like the Speedylink, but a little bit cheaper. I should also say it was installed well before the battery conversion and has always worked great. It plugs into the back of the motor.
Hopefully the picture attachment worked. |

Yes, I believe that is from gaminde (sp?).
How many wires attach to the switch? |
