How to lower or bag 2005 Club Car DS
New to the golf cart world. I just picked up a clean 2005 Club Car DS and I would love to lower it significantly or bag it. Been searching and can’t find much on how to do either. Also new to these forums so not sure if this topic has been covered or not. But any help on how to either lower my cart significantly or bag it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks |

Re: How to lower or bag 2005 Club Car DS
Looks like a stock height cart. Based on that, I don't know of any way to lower it. In the rear, maybe cut shackles down and inch. In front a flatter, but stiffer, leaf spring (custom made). But, if you can lower it even 1" you would most likely have tire rub issue. I don't know of any golf cart tires shorter than 18" (stock). As far as bagging, don't even know what that means.
Most everyone adds a lift kit to make them able to use larger tires. |

"Bagging" To install air bags to control/adjust ride height.

Re: How to lower or bag 2005 Club Car DS
for the rear you could cut the rear part of the leaf springs off and put the bags in between the frame and rearend or make control arms to go from the front spring mount on the cart to the rear axel and then put the bags in between the frame and the rear axel. i will look at the front end on my lowered 57 chevy club car and see what I can come up with, i was thinking of bagging it to get it even closer to the ground, after all 3 inches is just too high
